"The month of October"

The air is getting cooler and my fingers are starting to tingle with numbness. I wore my Uggs for the first time yesterday and it's not even winter. But after having such a great summer, the cold is welcomed. I feel like this is all preparation for christmas, since for me, that's my favourite time of year.

It even felt like christmas when a huge set of these beautiful marker pens, Karinmarkers, arrived in the post. After doing a bit of research on the many ways to use them I tried them out, and this was my first attempt. They do bleed bit so I might have to get different paper or get use to them but they are so vibrant and blend so smoothly and effortlessly. They are also very multi-purposeful. And pretty. And did I say they were vibrant?

Living in apartments, I never really got the whole Halloween 'thing', since there wasn't enough kids around. I'd have to go to my friend's housing estate where the streets would be filled with roaming black cats and witches. I loved all the preparation and excited chatter of your costumer beforehand. I loved coming home and tipping all the goodies out of my pumpkin basket and trading sweets with each other. I feel sad to think I don't do it anymore, but all the times I wish I was smaller... don't we all wish we were small again at some point? Innocent and carefree lives.
