1. Kanishka

2. Aqua Nuevo

£££-££££

Step into Aqua Nuevo, tucked away on a side path from Oxford Street, where Spanish culinary mastery meets the vibrant energy of London's bustling West End. Elevated above the iconic Regent Street, Aqua Nueva beckons with an invitation to indulge in the rich tapestry of flavours that define Spain's gastronomic landscape. With breathtaking vistas as your backdrop, immerse yourself in an evening of delicious small plates meticulously crafted for sharing, or for indulging if you are greedy like me. From the sizzle of perfectly seared meats to the delicate dance of flavours in each bite, every moment at Aqua Nueva promises to be a symphony for the senses. Welcome to a world where the essence of Spain meets the pulse of London. Although their menu is expensive, their pre-theatre menu provides you with the choice and quality from their À La Carte, for a fraction of the price.
For £36, you receive not only 5 tapas dishes but also exceptional service and a relaxed and romantic ambience.
Their sister restaurant, Aqua Kyoto, is beside Aqua Nueva but has a very different ambience and menu, but both are equally as tasty so I highly recommend both!

This place is insane! I was greeted into this eloquent and impressive building by a waiter with a kind smile. He showed me to my seat and was happy to delve into the history of the building and the inspiration behind all the dishes on the menu.
The food is on the more expensive side but it is up there with some of the nicest Indian I have tried, and I am a huge Indian food fan. It is even better if you go for their lunch menu where you get a starter, a main, garlic naan, rice and dhaal, all for £25 - bargain!
The portions are a really good size too, so you do not need to worry about leaving hungry - you will get your money's worth 😀
