'Nothing's Perfect'

"Even roses have thorns. take it's beauty and accept the cost that comes with it".

Hello everyone. I'm currently on my gap year and working for the rest of this year before I start travelling next year! I'm also going to Glasgow for the day to take some pretty photographs so check out @draw_for_dreams to see them.

With the massive increase in the use of social media, the demand for "Perfection" is significantly higher as there is a lot more out there for people to compare themselves to. But there's not a single natural thing on this planet that is perfect. And this is hard for me to say, being a perfectionist (which is a curse and a gift by the way ), but sometimes we just have to accept that it's never going to be the exact way we want. And once we accept that we can move on and start loving ourselves and find true happiness within.

Nobody's perfect. Even roses have thorns. They are beautiful, romantic and enticing. They bring colour, joy and happiness to our lives. Yet they have sharp thorns that disrupts their elegant and delicate image. Thorns that can pierce the skin, cause pain and hurt.

So embrace the flaws that come with all things beautiful in life and ourselves. Our flaws are what make us beautiful and what makes us, us.
