There are so many supposedly 'perfect' lives on social media, and i'm sure they are envied by loads. Even I must admit sometimes myself i'll come across an account on Instagram or see a friends post on Facebook and think, I wish I had that life. And I'm sure I'm not the only one. Some may even desperately try to recreate their lives and show their highlights. But nobody's going to post their lowlights.

"Don't trust everything you see, even salt looks like sugar"
I went through a time when I started to doubt my life. I looked at popular accounts and saw the hundreds of glamorous photos and thousands of fans. I saw everything they had accomplished and their constant happiness. It made me feel like my life wasn't good enough and that I constantly put myself under a pressure to make my posts just as good. But that didn't make me happy and I realised that these accounts, despite what they show, they could have, problems, mental illnesses, arguments, too.
I know this is obvious but I just want to remind those of you who are reading this, that nobody's life is perfect and quite often there will always be struggles and issues behind the smiles. Especially the accounts that receive the most attention as there's more pressure.
The drawing I have done to represent this issue is just to show that even peoples lives who seem more than what you may have, they still suffer from similar things. The paint symbolises the glamour that is painted over the reality, the 'mask' that is used to hide the grey and dull ( or sad ) parts.
I hope you like my drawing and message. Happy Friday
