Hello eveyone! i hope you're all well. I'm back with my weekly blog and today i'll be talking about tips on blending.
In my previous post i talked about art materials i use but i want to give more specifically what to do with them, otherwise they're not very helpful.
FABER-CASTELL
Since Faber-Castell arn't the greatest for blending, if you only have these, a tip to blending is doing small circular motions and really work the colours into eachother (if you wear a good bit of make-up, you'll understand this when applying foundation!).

Next get a darker shade and GENTLY- hardly put any preassure, work it into your base colour with circular motions.

repeating the process again and with different shades, over time you will gradully build a smooth, well-blended bit of colour.
PRISMACOLORS
Next i'll show you how i use prismacolors for skin!.

I start with a pen for my base (as mentioned in my previous blog) Here i'm using promarkers because i prefer copics for hair and promarkers for anything else. As you can see i have one smooth bit of pen without any patching- why i love them!
This is how i build up layers with prismacolors for when i colour skin. And alothough it's very sutbtle, it creates a great effect of depth and realism. You don't want it to be In-Your-Face.
And the finished result!

So there's a few head starters on bledning with my two most used brand of pencils. Hope this helped!
Love,
Fizzy!
